A New Foundation for Content Delivery: On-the-fly Capacity Extension
Instant capacity. No planning. No extra deployment. No waste. With Quanteec and your current CDN setup, your delivery stays strong at any peak.
Decentralized by Design.Adaptive by Nature.
Peer-to-Peer Content Delivery
Quanteec connects users to share data directly with each other, relieving dependence on CDN, rendering delivery more robust and suppressing over-deployments at peak levels. Every user becomes a delivery node for others. Quanteec chases resources where they are available.
Traditional CDN-only delivery
Scaling is hard and costly. Multi-CDN is complex.
CDN + Quanteec P2P
Scaling is by design. Costs are dropping. Ops are simplified.

The Engine Behind Quanteec
Harnessing Unused Resources
Quanteec uses a controlled share of audience capacity to move digital payloads closer to where they are consumed: live or on-demand video and audio streams, but also downloads and updates. Quanteec uses only what’s needed, when it’s needed. No waste, no over-deployment.
The origin and CDN remain the source of truth. Nearby devices exchange already cached chunks over secure connections while Quanteec orchestrates who sends what, across variety of devices on web, mobile, connected TVs and boxes.
How It Works
• Connect nearby devices. The SDK discovers peers and exchanges chunks already present in buffer or cache through secure connections. • Orchestrate in real time. Quanteec scores links, caps contribution, prioritises traffic classes, and fetches from the CDN whenever it is best. • Adapt to context. The created mesh network reshapes second after second across homes, venues, and low backhaul environments so delivery stays efficient.
Operator Controls
• Upload and device caps that you define • Policies by device type, network, and geography • Specific rules for specific cases: metered networks, low battery, or high CPU usage
User experience that scales
Low latency, better quality, less buffering, reliable delivery
Keep experience smooth under pressure. Quanteec brings content sources closer and provides solutions so that playback and downloads remain consistent even at peak.
Strong benefits
Longer watch time, higher ad completion, faster update rollout, fewer support tickets, and stable delivery during audience spikes or network incidents.
Short paths and local exchanges reduce delay for live streams. Compatible with low latency HLS, DASH and WebRTS protocols.
Higher sustained bitrate and faster throughput. Adaptive logic decides to request either from nearby peers or from the CDN, whichever is faster.
Peers supply cached chunks from close range, keeping buffers full and startup times short. Applies to live, VOD, audio, but also corporate town halls.
Every chunk has several potential sources. If a peer, a Wi-Fi link, or a CDN path degrades, the orchestrator switches instantly. Ready for multi-CDN, eCDN, and constrained backhaul in stadiums.
How we achieve it
• Proximity delivery with peer-to-peer added to smart CDN fallback • Congestion-aware scheduling and link scoring in real-time • Policies that cap device and upload contributions to protect the viewer experience
Elastic scalability on any CDN
Add a peer-assisted layer that grows capacity on demand for video, audio, but also software updates, file delivery, in venue experiences, and corporate streaming. Keep your stack as is. Create an infrastructure tailored to your exact needs and capable of extending instantly.
Origins or file stores feed your CDN. QUANTEEC orchestrates per chunk delivery across nearby peers and available CDN, with instant fallback when a path slows or fails. It can complement or act as a CDN switcher.
How It Works
• Bring your stack as is. Integration at the video player level. No change to encoder, packager, security process, file store, origin, or CDN specifics. • Create elastic capacity. During peaks, nearby devices serve cached chunks while the CDN remains the source of truth. Traffic shifts automatically between peers and CDN, when necessary. • Orchestrate or switch. Keep your current CDN switcher, or let Quanteec select the best path per chunk based on specific criteria.
Outcomes that matter
Instant scale for audience spikes and mass rollouts, lower egress and cache miss costs, faster downloads and resilient delivery if a CDN region degrades or goes down. Analytics report numerous quality metrics and comparison with CDN.
Fan Engagement with StreamBoost
The smart way out of the delivery crunch is to use the capacity we already have. Invite viewers to contribute a small, controlled share of their device and upload, improve delivery for everyone, and reward participation with Qoins.
In player opt-in. During playback, the viewer shares already cached segments with nearby peers. The viewer earns Qoins, climbs leaderboards, and can access VIP ad experiences.
How It Works
• Invite and explain. A clear in-player prompt presents the benefits and the controls. Opt-in is simple and transparent. • Contribute and earn. While watching, a small capped share of upload serves segments to nearby peers. Quanteec orchestrates quality first. The viewer earns Qoins for effective contribution. • Redeem and return. Qoins can be exchanged for perks such as VIP ad space, ad free minutes, exclusive content, partner rewards, or any marketing innovation.
Outcomes that matter
Higher engagement and watch time, better ad completion, measurable server offload during peaks, fewer support tickets, and a new lever to fund rewards through sponsorships and premium ad formats.
P2P Myths, Debunked
Today’s peer-assisted streaming is not the old P2P. Below, the myths and the real-world facts Quanteec proves.
Myth
Hard to integrate in the player
Teams expect weeks of custom work, forks, and fragile changes to their video stack.

Reality
Drop-in SDK with clear docs
Quanteec plugs into the player with a few lines of configuration. No CDN or DNS changes. Compatible with HLS, DASH, DRM, analytics, and existing ops. Provided with detailed docs, step-by-step process and guided support.
Myth
P2P is not safe and may breach security
Old peer-to-peer meant open ports and uncontrolled sharing, so teams assume encryption and DRM will break.

Reality
Security mechanisms and DRM stay intact
Quanteec encrypts chunks, uses session-bound tokens over TLS, and respects your DRM workflow. Peers never see decrypted media. It acts as a secured extension of your CDN edge, not an exposure point. Comes with an extra security layer.
Myth
P2P strains ISPs and creates bottlenecks
Extra uplink will clog last-mile links, and a bad peer will slow everyone else.

Reality
Network-aware and self-optimizing
Quanteec selects close, healthy peers, throttles rates, and reroutes on loss. Local exchange eases backhaul; hotspots dissolve instead of forming.
Myth
P2P is resource-heavy and intrusive
A heavy application that installs services, eats CPU, drains battery, and seeds in the background.

Reality
Lightweight and policy-aware
Quanteec abides by operator policies: caps upload rate, minimises its footprint, prefers local/Wi-Fi, pauses on low battery or poor conditions, and stops when playback ends. No background seeding.
Myth
Viewers pay for your upload
Teams worry about extra uplink costs and angry users.

Reality
Modern networks are built for two-way use
Video calls, gaming, and social apps already use uplink. Quanteec keeps usage modest and configurable (Wi-Fi-only, rate limits, regional rules). In return, viewers get steadier quality — and platforms can add rewards through StreamBoost, if desired.
Myth
P2P must add delay to re-stream between viewers
More hops must mean higher latency and poor live sync.

Reality
Ultra-low-latency full support
Quanteec works with LL-HLS, LL-DASH, CMAF, and WebRTS when needed. Peers fetch fast and re-stream almost instantaneously, keeping live within ULL targets, down to less than 2s end-to-end, in production.
